Real Sound Lab has finalized its first consumer electronics licensing agreement with Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc. for the incorporation of its loudspeaker equalization technology, CONEQ™, into a new line of Hitachi LCD HDTV sets available to the public in North America beginning in August 2009. CONEQ™ will be featured in 46- and 55-inch models of Hitachi’s UltraVision® Series with Full HD 1080p 120Hz picture quality.
CONEQ™ acoustic power equalization technology is the brainchild of Raimonds Skuruls and has been brought to the market by Real Sound Lab, headquartered in Riga, Latvia. CONEQ™ technology and its professional products have been repeatedly recognized through prizes and nominations. Real Sound Lab’s APEQ-2pro series of pro-grade acoustic power equalizers has received “The Most Innovative Product of the Year - 2008” award from Ministry of Economics of Latvia.
