JVC KENWOOD Holdings employs CONEQ™ Acoustic Power Equalizing Technology to their consumer audio products for the first time in the world

12/11/2009, Corporate news
Riga, Latvia – Real Sound Lab SIA, who developed CONEQ™ Acoustic Power Equalization technology used in professional and high-end audio, announced today that JVC KENWOOD Holdings, Inc. has signed a license agreement with them. JVC KENWOOD Holdings, Inc. will introduce the first product with CONEQ™ technology under their KENWOOD brand for the Japanese market in November. Soon after, it will cover the other important markets worldwide.

The audio system employed CONEQ™, which equalizes the acoustic power (and acoustic energy as a result) to an absolutely flat level like the natural world, providing true-to-original (source material) sound reproduction. Although the model to be introduced this time is a mini-component home audio system, KENWOOD considers extending CONEQ™ applications to other products.

CONEQ™ acoustic power equalization technology is the brainchild of Raimonds Skuruls and has been brought to the market by Real Sound Lab, headquartered in Riga, Latvia. CONEQ™ technology and its professional products have been recognized through numerous prizes and nominations. Real Sound Lab’s APEQ-2pro series of professional-grade acoustic power equalizers have received “The Most Innovative Product of the Year - 2008” award from Ministry of Economics of Latvia.
