Introduction of new products at this year’s ProLight+Sound trade show!

Real Sound Lab, the developer of the CONEQ™ measurement technology for Acoustic Power Frequency Response (APFR), is releasing four brand-new products at the PROLIGHT+SOUND 2010 show taking place from March 24 until March 27, 2010.

Real Sound Lab is presenting its new APEQ-8pro DIO hardware. The APEQ-8pro DIO is aimed at cinema and surround sound applications and offers eight channels of CONEQ equalization with digital and analogue inputs and outputs. It can use internal clocking or can be synchronized by wordclock. The APEQ-8pro DIO allows performing CONEQ measurements without requiring an additional audio interface and provides a dedicated microphone input with switchable 48 volt phantom power.

On the software product range, Real Sound Lab is releasing the next generation of CONEQ DEMO software, which is more localized by offering more languages on top of being able to experience the CONEQ technology without any investment.

Additionally, Real Sound Lab is launching CONEQ STARTER, a new application for doing basic APFR measurements and CONEQ correction filter synthesis. CONEQ STARTER comes free of charge with any software or hardware filter application tool purchased from Real Sound Lab.

And finally, Real Sound Lab is very proud to release the CONEQ WORKSHOP measurement software in its 3rd generation. The software has undergone complete overhaul and has gotten more features in a far more user friendly user interface.

All new products support Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.

All products will be on display during the show in Frankfurt. The products will be presented by Alex Schloesser, Director of Pro Audio at Real Sound Lab, along with Atis Straujums, Director of Development, and further support staff. Mr Schloesser comments on the success story of the last year: “We have seen expanding business despite the global economic situation and also have spent an enormous effort on getting those new products ready for the show and for sale.
