MITSUBISHI employs CONEQ technology to their rear-projection TV products!

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, Inc. has signed a technology license agreement to use Real Sound Lab’s CONEQ™ Acoustic Power Equalization technology in the new line of Mitsubishi rear-projection TV products. These TVs will be available to the public in July 2011.

CONEQ will be used in Mitsubishi’s Diamond 840 series with an integrated Immersive Sound Technology 16-speaker surround sound system. CONEQ-equipped TV products have optimally equalized acoustic power (and acoustic energy as a result), providing natural and clear sound reproduction.

CONEQ acoustic power equalization technology was developed and brought to the market by Real Sound Lab, headquartered in Riga, Latvia. CONEQ technology and products have been recognized through numerous prizes and nominations. Real Sound Lab’s APEQ™-2pro series of professional-grade acoustic power equalizers have received “The Most Innovative Product of the Year 2008” award from Ministry of Economics of Latvia.
