Measurement Software

The CONEQ™ measurement technology is applied to make a precise measurement of how loud the loudspeaker reproduces tones of each frequency and to produce a respective correction filter. The CONEQ™ filter application technology is any of the software or hardware equalization tools supporting CONEQ™ in order to apply the generated correction filters.

The first step of applying CONEQ technology is the measurement of Acoustic Power Frequency Response of a loudspeaker and synthesis of the CONEQ correction filter. This is done by one of the editions of CONEQ measurement software.

CONEQ™ Workshop

The CONEQ™ Workshop measurement and equalization software is the core element to all Real Sound Lab professional audio technologies. The CONEQ™ Workshop software enables the use of the CONEQ™ technology – CONEQ™ measurement, automatic filter generation and filter export for use in APEQ™ hardware and CONEQ™ software equalization tools. The CONEQ™ Workshop software gives the user full control of the exciting CONEQ™ measurement process and numerous custom equalization options besides the flat filter generation.


There are three editions of the CONEQ™ Workshop application:

  • CONEQ™ Workshop Unlimited
  • CONEQ™ Workshop Annual
  • CONEQ™ Workshop Limited *

All editions are functionally equa,l but the Annual and Limited editions have limitations on the usage time. The Annual edition will work for a year (53 weeks) from its activation and, to continue using CONEQ™ Workshop, a new license must be acquired. The Limited edition is similar to Annual, but will work for 30 days from its activation.


* When buying an APEQ™ hardware equalizer or a CONEQ™ plug-in, the CONEQ™ Workshop Limited measurement software will be included free of charge.
